Chocolate Orange Cookies

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter
6 oz Cream Cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp grated orange peel
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Method

Cream together butter, cream cheese & sugar.

Add eggs, orange peel & vanilla extract & beat well.

Sift together flour, baking powder & salt in a separate bowl. Add this to the creamed mixture & mix well.

Fold the chocolate chips into this mixture.

Drop the mixture from a teaspoon or small icecream scoop 2-3in apart onto a ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in a 350F pre-heated oven for 10-12 mins.
