Celebrations 2011...a flashback

We are in the beginning of a New Year & have been thru a lot of holidays & celebrations over the last couple of months - Diwali, Navratri, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Eve.
In this event I would like to invite my dear fellow bloggers to share any delicacies prepared as a part of any of the above celebrations.

Your entries must be one that was prepared for either or all the celebrations during the months of Nov-Dec 2011.

1. Pls send in vegetarian recipes only. Eggs are allowed.

2. Pls link your entry to the event page on TasteBuds with the logo.

3. Pls send in ur entries by Jan 31st 2012. The entries must have been posted on ur blog between 1st Nov-31st Dec 2011.

4. You can send upto 2 entries from each celebration. Pls send ur entries to tastebudss.1@gmail.com
with ur name, name of blog, name of celebration & picture of the entry.

Spring-Summer 2011....Fresh from ur Garden..

Hi Everybody,
After a wonderful response for my previous event....I plan to host another event to celebrate the gorgeous, warm days ahead of us. This event does not include recipes or cooking...I'm sure you guessed what it is going to be all about by the name of the event. Yes!!!!!! That's it...Its about growing ur own veggies, fruit & herbs...Dont you just love to cook with the fresh produce from ur kitchen garden? I'm sure you do...

So lets plant a kitchen garden today!! Start shopping for seeds, soil & other products to grow ur own kitchen garden...You dnt need a big garden space...u can grow in containers too...All u need is a nice warm space with lots of sunshine & with some love & care, you have a wonderful garden.

Guidelines for the event

1. Set up a kitchen garden in ur backyard or patio.You can grow ur plants in the ground or in containers.

2. Click pictures of ur plant in ur garden/patio.Send the pictures with
      ur name
      blog name
     &
     name of ur produce to tastebudss.1@gmail.com
   

3. Pls post the pictures on ur blog & link ur entry page to the event page with the logo.

4. The plants MUST be self-grown & not store bought. Only baby plants that are store bought will be accepted. I'd really appreciate if you could start ur garden with seeds & not store bought baby plants.

This event will go on from Spring & Summer into Fall.....The deadline for the event would be Sep 30th 2011...

So lets get ready to grow some fruits, herbs & veggies....FRESH FROM UR GARDEN.......
