Ingredients
250 gms french beans
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
3 -4 green chillies(slit)
2 tbsp grated coconut
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4-5 curry leaves
salt to taste
Method
Wash & finely chop the beans as small as possible.
In a pan,heat 1 tsp oil, add mustard seeds & wait till they splutter. Add the green chillies, curry leaves & fry for a min.
Add the finely chopped beans, turmeric powder & 1/4 cup water. Cover & cook on simmer till the beans is cooked & water absorbed.
Add grated coconut, salt to taste & stir.
Cook for a few more mins & turn off heat.
Serve garnished with grated coconut.
