Homemade French Fries

Everybody loves french fries. Its a very quickly & readily available yummy finger food.
But have you ever thought of making it at home which makes it a lot more healthier.Its really quick & simple.


5-6 medium sized potatoes

oil for deep frying

salt & pepper to taste


Peel & cut potatoes lengthwise into thin strips.

Soak them in cold water for 5-10 mins. Remove the potatoes & dry them well with a paper towel.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the pototoes in small batches on low/medium flame till golden yellow/brown.
Serve seasoned with salt & pepper.
