Ingredients
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 tbsp active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
1 tbsp melted butter
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Mince finely:
1 medium sized red onion
3-4 cloves garlic
2-3 green chillies
a small bunch of coriander & mint leaves
Method
Add sugar & yeast to warm water & set aside till the yeast is bubbly.
In a bowl mix together bread flour, salt, minced onion, garlic, green chillies, coriander & mint leaves.
Knead this to a soft dough with the warm water in which the yeast was dissolved. Knead adding the melted butter.
Place the dough in a greased dish. Cover & set aside in the oven with the light on (DONT TURN THE OVEN ON) for 1 hr till it rises & has doubled in size.
When the dough has doubled in size, punch down & knead for 2-3 times. Divide the dough into medium equal sized balls. Cover & let this rise for another 30 - 45 mins.
When the dough balls have risen, bake in a 425F pre-heated oven for 25 - 30 mins.
Brush the warm dinner rolls with some butter & sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Serve warm.
Delicious and innovative dish...
