Ingredients
2 cups rice flour
2 tbsp moong dal (cooked & mashed)
1/2 tsp hing / kayam podi
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
salt to taste
200 gms butter @ room temperature
1/2 tsp jeera
Method
Knead together all ingredients using water (if required) to make a firm dough....very little water should be added,otherwsie the murukku will soak up a lot of oil while being fried.
Squeeze into hot oil using a murukku maker. Deep fry till golden brown.
Serve with tea/coffee.
