Curd(Yoghurt) Chillies / Thayir Mulagu

Ingredients

20 - 25 green chillies
2 cups homemade yoghurt
2-3 tsp salt

Method

Make 2-3 small slits/cuts in the green chillies. Do not slit it completely or remove the seeds & stems.

Beat the yoghurt with the salt. Soak the chillies in the yoghurt overnight.


Remove the chillies from the yoghurt & spread them in 1 layer on a plate & set them outside in the sun.
Bring the chillies indoors at night & soak them in the yoghurt overnight & spread them out in the sunshine during the day. Repeat this process till the yoghurt set aside for this process has been completely soaked up by the chillies & sun dried till crisp.


To Serve: Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
