Bread Pakoda ( Deep fried bread )


4-5 slices bread

oil for deep frying

For the batter

1/2 cup besan (gram flour)

1 tp red chilli powder

1 medium sized onion (finely chopped)

salt to taste

2 tsp chopped coriander leaves

water as required


Mix the ingredients to make a thick batter.

Cut the bread slices into medium sized squares. Dip in batter & deep fry in oil.

Serve hot with ketchup/mint chutney.
