Diwali Special - Spicy Diamond Cuts


1 cup all purpose flour(maida)
1 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp asafoetida (kayam podi)
1/2 tsp baking powder
salt to taste

Oil for deep frying


Knead together all ingredients into a firm chappathi-like dough. Set aside for 20-30 mins.

Form medium sized balls & roll out like a chappathi.

Cut into small diamond shaped pieces.

Deep fry in hot oil till crisp & golden brown.
