Blueberry Cake with blueberry syrup


Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 tsp baking powder

3/4 cup milk

2 inch stick butter (melted)
2 eggs (beaten)

1 tsp vanilla

a pinch of salt
Method
Sift together flour & baking powder.
Mix in the rest of the dry ingredients.
Add the remaining ingredients (except blueberries) to form a batter.
Finally fold the whole blueberries in.
Bake in a 350F oven for 35-40 mins.

Blueberry Syrup
1 cup bluberries
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
In a pan, add the blueberries, sugar & water & bring to a boil.
Simmer & cook for 25-30 mins.
To serve, pour on a piece of sliced cake. Serve warm.
