Ulli Chammanthi ( Onion Chutney )

1 big red onion
5-6 dry red chillies

1 small ball of tamarind

salt to taste

Slice onions.
Saute onions & red chillies till the onions turn pinkish/golden brown.

Grind the sauteed mixture with tamarind to a coarse paste. Add salt to taste.

Serve with idli/dosa.
