Coconut Chutney-2


1 cup grated coconut

3-4 green chillies

1-2 cloves of garlic

a small ball of tamarind/1/2tsp tamarind paste

a small of coriander leaves

5-6 curry leaves

salt to taste

To season

1 tsp oil

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

2-3 dry red chillies

2-3 curry leaves


Grind together coconut, green chillies, garlic,tamarind & curry leaves to a fine paste.

Add salt to taste.

To season: Fry mustard seeds, red chilli & curry leaves in oil. Season chutney with this mixture & serve.
