Eggless Butter Cookies

A melt in the mouth butter cookie that reminds me of the yummy cookies baked at some local bakeries back home...

Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1/4 cup light cream
1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
Sieve flour & cornstarch together.

In another bowl, beat together melted butter & sugar till frothy. Pour in the cream & vanilla. Mix well.

Add the dry ingredients & fold in well to make sure that there are no lumps.

You can drop small spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.OR use a cookie press to get a desired shape for your cookie.
I filled a cookie press with the mixture & made small cookies onto my baking sheet.

Bake in a 325F pre-heated oven for 15-18 mins till they are light golden.

Serve at tea-time.
