Velvety Chocolate Cheesecake


1 chocolate pie crust (store bought)

For the filling

2 8oz cream cheese pkts @ room temp
1/2 cup sugar
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate roughly chopped
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp flour


Melt the roughly chopped chocolate using a double boiler. Whisk the melted chocolate till shiny & smooth.

Beat together cream cheese,sugar,eggs, vanilla & sour cream till it is creamy & smooth. Pour in the melted chocolate & mix well with the rest of the cream cheese mixture.

Pour the mixture into the chocolate crust.

Bake in 325F pre-heated oven for 45 mins. Cool to room temperature.

Serve chilled.
